dc.description.abstract A new computer approach to the modeling of minimal surfaces is described and implemented. Quasi-molecular particles and forces are used to simulate actual molecular structure and forces. Detailed formulas and computer techniques are given. As an example, the approximation of the unique minimal surface through a skew quadrilateral is constructed and displayed. en
