dc.description.abstract The fall of a drop into a basin of water is simulated by a molecular aggregate approach. The dynamical equations are large systems of nonlinear, ordinary differential equations which are derived using conservation of mass and total energy. These equations have to be solved numerically. Supercomputer examples of backdrop and wave simulations are described and discussed. en
