Title: Le Corbusier And The Daughter Of Light
Author: Shannon, Gayla Jett
Abstract: Charles-Edouard Jeanneret, Le Corbusier, used color in his architecture to modulate form and volume. This research evaluates the possible rationales for the application of color in his architecture of the Purist phase, the 1920s, and compares it to the Munsell system of color notation in two case studies; Maison La Roche and Villa Savoye.
