Abstract:

The UT Arlington Library and the Office of the Provost are pleased to host the first exhibition of books, creative works, and patents created by UT Arlington faculty and staff in 2007-2008. We plan to make this signature event an annual celebration at UT Arlington. The idea of the exhibition started with Tommie Wingfield, assistant to the dean of the library for marketing and external relations, and the fact that the exhibit is taking place is testament to her tenacity and hard work. |

This volume is dedicated to the Friends of the UT Arlington Library. For more than two decades, members of the Friends have supported the scholarly work of UT Arlington faculty. The Friends showcase faculty authors in their monthly meetings, and have created an endowment to purchase material for the Library collection in honor of members of the faculty. The Friends’ organization has created a strong partnership with the University Library
and the faculty to advance the academic mission of UT Arlington. |
